Heidi Mecklenburg worked on film restoration software for many years. She also possesses an untapped proficiency with general purpose GPU programming. She is an experienced administrator/manager in the nonprofit sector, with emphasis on organizing outdoor mindfulness programs for adults and young people.
Heidi grew up in Boulder, and then lived in Hawaii, Washington, and Rhode Island before moving back to Boulder in 2010. She spent much of that time as a professional equestrian, as well as tending bar, before giving all that up to earn her Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Rhode Island, and begin her career at MTI Film.
She loves to dance, and is currently honing her Salsa and Casino (look it up!) skills. She also really likes dogs of all sorts, and dreams of a yard-full of no longer strays.
