Kerry has founded or served as an early employee in a number of startup companies including ReplySend (Founder; TechStars 12), BountyQuest (Employee #1; funded by Jeff Bezos et al.), and CyberGear (Employee #2; pioneered the field of virtual reality fitness equipment with products like the VR Bike and the VR Climber).
Outside of the startup world, Kerry has worked as a member of the technical staff at Massachusetts Institute of Technologys Lincoln Laboratory, where he developed a number of remote sensing and video compression technologies. As a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Brown University he specialized in data dissemination techniques and systems software.
In a parallel universe Kerry founded Kixia, a consultancy that worked alongside patent law firms to help manage and grow their practices, build patent portfolios for their clients, and perform source-code reviews in the context of M&A due diligence.
Kerry holds degrees in Computer Science from Brown University and Brandeis University, is an FAA certificated pilot, and is registered to practice before the USPTO in patent matters.
